Shared Sauna Community Roots Garden on Kinburn St.

Nestled in the heart of Mahone Bay along the Ernst River, the Community Roots Garden welcomes you. 

The heritage charm of the big red barn overlooking the river is the perfect setting for sauna evenings. With two open cold water showers straight from the hose, we are happy to accommodate those that find wild waterways less than favourable. 

Sauna, rinse, repeat.  Relax round the fire pit afterwards. Bring your yoga mat to roll out in the grass. Chat under the Edison bulbs with new friends. This space is like a warm hug from your granny.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no civic address at the garden entrance but look for our posted signs. We are at https://goo.gl/maps/gorj6tXVKfV7DGqt8 (copy and paste in maps). The second photo in the Kinburn Street garden booking pages shows a screenshot of maps and location.

Our entrance is BETWEEN the Youden Apartments on KINBURN ST and a red fire hydrant, and slopes down into the trees. Kitty Corner to the fire station. 

As parking is limited at this location, we ask that if you are able-bodied, you park along Kinburn Street and walk down. This saves the garden spots for those with mobility issues... and helps you get in your steps 😉
